Standard specification for second-hand 4.2m aero front exhibition trailer
The trailer is of close coupled, tandem axle design, meeting all current EU and DOT regulations and incorporating all road lights, reflectors, brakes, parking brakes, spare wheel, wind-down corner steadies etc. and complete electrical certificate of compliance.
The main body dimensions are: Length – 4.2m to include an aero dynamic nose cone x Width – 2.2m x Height - 2.2m with the chassis rated to 2000kgs gross trailer weight.
The trailer is a flat floor configuration with the chassis constructed from angle and mild steel sections, primed and painted after fabrication, with galvanised draw bar. The body to be constructed from smooth white GRP faced body panels, assembled by means of structural aluminium mill finish extrusions, bonded and mechanically fixed. The roof to be double skin daylight with air gap giving a daylight but insulated roof. The aero dynamic nose cone is moulded GRP with internal work top. The floor to be of 18mm treated plywood. The floor is finished with heavy duty vinyl tiles.
Exterior type:
The nearside of the trailer has an opening of 2500mm which folds into to large display panels measuring 1250mm x 2000mm. folding from within is a aluminium step with handrails. There is a full-length wind out awing in blue and a roof mounted headboard measuring 500mm x 3600mm. There is a staff access door on the offside.
Interior Fittings:
The interior of the trailer has seating along the rear and o/s of the trailer with a corner coffee table. In the centre is a large cupboard idea for storing literature and media. The aero front has a worktop with two large storage cupboards beneath, a sink on the right-hand side and a tall cupboard on the left-hand side.
Electrics (Lighting and power points)
The trailer is wired to accept 240v single phase power from mains or portable generator. The installation is by means of water resistant (to IP65) bulkhead fitting wired to RCD and MCBs and distributed to power and lighting circuits. The lighting to consist of wall wash LED down lights, with double power points fitted where necessary.
